Bill has thirty+ years of Human Resource experience in the retail grocery, distribution, and consulting Fields. Prior corporate experience includes Vice President, Human Resources, Eagle Food Centers, Milan, IL; Director of Training, Food Marketing Institute, Washington, DC; and Director of Human Resources, The Kroger Company – Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta GA Divisions.   In 1994,Bill co-founded and manages a human resource consulting firm specializing in corporate and individual outplacement - career transition, coaching/mentoring, career strategies, leadership development, and succession planning.     Bill's current Community/Volunteer Service: President, ACF-NA (Association of Career Management Firms-North America); Board Member, Charlotte Chamber Manufacturers’ Council;  NC State SHRM Council District II Director; Student Chapter Advisor, Winthrop University Student SHRM Chapter (2010-2011); President of Crown Point Business Park Association; Member of his subdivision’s Architectural Review Board; and member of several OI Partners’ Committees. Bill facilitates a number of Job Search Support Groups for Professionals in job search.   Previous Community/Volunteer Service:    Board member, Charlotte Mecklenburg Personnel Commission; Chair of ACF-DOL Emergency Response Task Force (2005-2007);  Past President of Charlotte Area SHRM; NC State SHRM Council Diversity Leadership Area (2010); and Diversity Chair for Union County HRA (2010-2011).   As Area Chair-Lead Instructor and faculty at The University of Phoenix – Charlotte Campus, School of Business, Bill facilitates a variety of Business related classes including capstone courses. He also conducts the University’s Career Exploration Series. Bill was awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award at the University of Phoenix’s Charlotte Campus 2011 graduation ceremony.
